Since Shane took Beltre...

VERY high risk, high reward...

HANK BLALOCK

Knew I should have taken Beltre before Wood... I could have gotten a garbage closer this round...

Damn, that's who I wanted in the 6th round. I knew Beltre would be gone but was hoping Hank would slip through.

Thanks for adding your picks Don. Everyone else can do that too.

No worries... No reason to put the burden on you and Tim. As long as everyone only adds their picks, this should be a lot easier on you guys.

I hadn't thought of that before; I didn't realize the ability to add our own picks was currently enabled. I'll do that from here on out. We should still continue to post our picks here too so we can keep up with whose turn it is.

If somebody does add a player out of turn the penalty should be that their entire team is wiped out and they need to rebuild from scratch with the leftover table scraps after the draft is over. :D

I had no idea. I will do this going forward too.

I actually hadn't realized it until I noticed Don was doing it.

I'm going to the gym now. I'll be back around 12 or 12:30 PT, hopefully Adam won't hold us hostage all day.

Sleeper: Pablo Sandoval- I've read he's going to start at 3b for SF.

Just realized after reading more about him, that he'll spell Molina at C too. How many appearances at C does he have to have to be eligible? He had 11 last year in only 145 at bats, so he spent a lot of his time there. Since he had only 11 appearances at C he didn't retain the eligibility, even though he didn't play the full season in the majors. Does he need another 10 this year to be eligible? Also, if he is named the starting 3b for SF, will he get 3b eligibility right off the start, or will I have to wait 10 games to have him eligible there?

Thanks!

NC Cubs command Lou to use Marmol as a true stopper rather than wasting him in one-inning, three-run-lead save situations, then draft Kevin Gregg. :D
