Wow. I'd say Angelo scored again. There hasn't been 1 OLineman picked since he picked last. Only Phily left before the Bears pick again.

Philly takes a TE. Angelo can still have any OL he could have drafted with his last pick.

Touchdown!

Still got a bad feeling that JA thinks he did enough to the line thru free agency and will go elsewhere. But you still have 3 projected starters well over 30.

There is absolutely NO WAY he doesn't go OL here. NO WAY!

I really have no issue with picking Freeman, but I'd still like to see them address the line with a player that may actually play one day.

Freeman! Love Marcus Freeman. I would have taken him in the 4th. Another steal, IMO. Still don't understand ignoring OL consistently every damn year, though.

I like Freeman with this pick, but I'm absolutely speechless that he has not addressed the OL at this point.

Has struggled with durability: torn knee ligaments and a subsequent staph infection forced him to redshirt the 2005 season. Had his knee scoped following the 2007 season for a possible torn meniscus. Struggled through the 2008 season with a recurring ankle sprain.

that's a whole lot of red flags.

What happened yesterday with the 2nd round pick trade?

Let's just say this ended up being a brilliant move. Shockingly brilliant.

what did they get in return and why so brilliant?

If you would have told me the Bears would get Gilbert, Iglesias, Freeman, and Moore, I would have assumed that the Bears traded down and picked up 3 picks between 50 and 99. All are guys I thought would go in that range, except for Moore who I'd figured would go by 49. I think the Bears got 4 of the top 100 players in the draft. Which is great considering they got none of the top 40.

Two defensive linemen.

Round 3, Pick 4 (68) (From Seahawks) Jarron Gilbert DE 6'5" 288 San Jose State

Pick Analysis:The Bears look to beef up their interior with the selection of Gilbert. A bit of an underachiever, Gilbert has the size and athleticism to develop into a quality interior rusher. With Rod Marinelli as the team's defensive line coach, the Bears may hit on the "boom or bust" prospect.

Round 4, Pick 5 (105) (From Seahawks) Henry Melton DE 6'3" 260 Texas

Pick Analysis:He's an athlete with speed. He had an unbelievable pro day, running a 4.65 in the 40-yard dash. He came into Texas as a highly regarded running back before eventually transitioning to defensive end two years ago. He's got a great first move in the pass rush and really good explosion.

Melton is a project guy with huge upside.
