Well since we are down to three I felt this deserved it own thread. I really thought we deserved 5 finalists this year, but I guess the ballots are not going to be as spread out this year as thought 4 weeks ago.

We are down to McCoy, Bradford, and Tebow in what could be the closest final in recent memory.

Personally I am thinking

McCoy

Bradford

Tebow

McCoy

Tebow

Bradford

(it will probably be the exact opposite of that)

I think Tebow could steal it in a sense. McCoy and Bradford could split the Big XII votes/people who won't let Tebow win twice.

Bradford has the best stats, but he is surrounded by better players than either McCoy or Tebow.

McCoy should win it, Bradford second, then Tebow

The whole business that Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford have produced more statistically than Tim Tebow is a load of crap. Anyone stupid enough to believe those arguments needs their head examined.

McFadden!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should award it to him to make up for last year.

Give one to Peyton while you're at it, too. :D

And Rex.

Seriously though, can I just pick none of the above for this years crop of "Best Players"

You would be one to laugh, instead of saying why I am wrong.

I won't say you're wrong, I'll say that it doesn't matter. The Heisman is completely subjective and often doesn't go to the person with the best stats.

In other words, so what?

Seriously? haha, you mean literally two posts after you said this:

Bradford has the best stats, but he is surrounded by better players than either McCoy or Tebow.

You're delusional.

You know, telling someone they're wrong but not saying why.

Roast, I did: One can easily infer from my post that Tebow produced as much as McCoy and Bradford.

Derwood: I mean the argument for Bradford/McCoy/Harrell deserving it over Tebow was purely the #s.

and I'm saying it's not the #'s, it's the perception of the numbers

One can easily infer from your post that you believe that, but you made no argument to support that opinion. The point is, you are notorious for making bold statements like that and giving no argument whatsoever to back it up, and then you went and talked about truffle for doing the exact same thing.

So recursively, anyone who thinks that anyone who thinks that Tebow should win the Heisman is [expletive] is themself, [expletive] because it's a subjective award that can be given out in any fashion the voter decides. If the voter decides to give the heisman on the basis of the best player on the #1 team in the AP poll, which is a very rational decision that's perfectly acceptable, then them thinking Tebow should win the heisman doesn't make them [expletive]. It only makes the person who made such a black and white comment in the first place [expletive] for looking at the world in absolutes.

Crabtree or Harrell should have been invited at least.
