There's her Baylor pic. After all the times they showed her last night, I was hopeful that someone would have screencapped one of those.

GMAC Bowl tonight. I picked Tulsa in the pick 'em leagues. I just don't think we can stop them. Should be quite entertaining either way though. Chirp, chirp.

Why is this game on tonight. This is a crap game that should have been played before Jan. 2.

Playing on New Year's Day used to actually mean something. Its like the Tuesday night games that drive me nuts.

This game being played between two of the biggest bowls games makes absolutely no sense...Good luck Ball State though I'm routing for ya

It makes perfect sense ... for the MAC.

I'm at Ladd-Peebles Stadium right now getting ready for the game. The stadium is old but its got a lot of history. The weather won't be very good at the least. Its already poured for about 20 minutes, although it just quit. The weather report is a huge storm will move in sometime tonight that could bring tornadoes with it (its like a Midwest Spring here weather wise).

Utah beat Oregon St. who embarrassed USC.

Utah: 82

USC: 6

A six point away loss is not an embarrassment - what the Trojans did to the lllini last year and to Ohio State and Penn State this year was embarrassing to those programs.

USC's under ranked D was ranked #1 in the nation.

Matt Cassell couldn't start there but he was one of the top QBs in the NFL this year.

7 straight Pac Ten (5 - 0 in bowls this year) titles. 7 straight 11 win seasons. 7 straight BCS bowl games.

USC = football dynasty.

You're just very green with envy - which along with your red hair must make you very popular with the "ladies" at Panos.

At least we can now all agree that the idea that Texas is better than USC is utterly laughable 8-)

That's a given considering USC blew out Ohio State and Penn State who beat Ohio State (who Texas could barely beat).

One away game that they weren't up for cost USC the National Championship.

USC 35 - 10 over Texas.

texas wasn't "up for" the game last night though...and they still won! against a Big10 team!

texas 42 - 13 over usc.

LOL.

Meh, Everyone keeps saying the Pac-10 is 5-0 but USC was the only Pac-10 team to play an equivalently placed football team in a different conference. I should hope the 2nd place team in the Pac-10 would beat the team in a 3-way tie for 4th in the Big XII, etc.

We're too busy discussing the latest vegan restaurant to open up in West Hollywood, protesting gay marriage bans, and doing other coastal elite type things to follow college football too closely.

It's just par for the course outside of Real America.

It's really ironic because there is so many other things to do in places like Oklahoma (as opposed to Southern California) than watch college football.

Nate Davis trying to be mini Daunte Culpepper

After the last run its more like Cunningham.

I was just referencing his fumbles. They also have really strong arms and learning disabilities in common.

Dave Pasch just had a line I bet NFL coaches/scouts loved to hear in reference to him: "The coaches say he's just a slow learner."

Man, Big XII offenses haven't looked pretty good. Sure, McCoy threw for 413 yards....but it took him FIFTY-EIGHT attempts! For comparison, Ohio State only ran 66 plays. Texas ran like 90. Really, it was another disappointing offensive performance in the bowls by a Big XII offense, Ohio State actually moved the ball more effectively.

Really, the two key things leading to a Longhorn defense were: 1) The busted coverage or bad play call on the last TD. Why do you leave no one more than 10 yards off the line of scrimmage when it's the last twenty seconds and they need a touchdown? Makes very little sense. 2) The Buckeyes schemed well for the Longhorns offense and were able to stop it effectively, when they were lined up. However in the third quarter Texas went quick tempo and it got to the point where defensive linemen were standing there when the ball was snapped, out of position or offsides.

Whose offense was better in this game. Texas, they outgained em by over 100 yards. Why did Texas run so many plays compared to OSU? Because Texas can sustain drives!. Who gives a flying f how many plays you run as long as you move the ball. They had 33 first downs, of course they are going to run alot of plays. Teams would die for an offense to move the ball so consistantly, OSU drag all year has been they rely on the big play so much to move the ball and score, its a hit or miss offense with Pryor throwing the ball(an unrepeatable offense). Pryor was 5-14 for 66 yards, whooppee. Yeah it took McCoy 59 times to reach 414, how good of an offense would it be it they decided to run against OSU defense? Not good. He was their dimension OSU couldnt stop, exploit it. Even if i just watched this game by itself I have no doubt whose offense is better and which one i would prefer. Texas.

I know. I wasn't disagreeing or taking offense. Its almost half time and I would say you were right he has looked a lot more like Culpepper in the game ... the Culpepper of today.

what are you talking about, im just saying that you dont know anything about football because you dont follow it outside of assuming that you've won whatever game it was you last played in

look at your compadre voice of reason over there, he's even more clueless than you are, and instead of trying to argue otherwise, he just pointed out that there's more to do in california (obviously). he basically agreed with me

Bob Stoops should pull a plug on his defense talking to the media. They're getting dumber by the day. Nic Harris decided to call the Florida Gators offense one dimensional and "I don't think that they — [Tebow] — can beat us with his arm." You know Nic. I was looking this year and Florida is fourth in the nation in yards per pass play. FOURTH. The Sooners are only a spot ahead of them. Florida also has just THREE interceptions all season, and a TD:INT ratio over 10:1. The only team to do that by a large margin. Florida is also third in yards per running play. Florida is top four in both categories. Obviously, they're the only team to do that. As a whole, Florida actually made more yards per play than Oklahoma's vaunted offense...and they didn't do it against scarecrow defenses. QB rating blows as a statistic, but Tim Tebow was SECOND in 2007 and THIRD in 2008 in the nation, ahead of McCoy and Harrell both years. Now, I'm not going to say that Florida's offense is better than yours or that Tim Tebow is a better passing QB than Bradford, but one thing is painfully obvious. To say that Florida's offense is one dimensional is to be stupid. Tim Tebow has a career 65:9 TD:INT ratio! Just because Florida doesn't pass the ball 50 times like people do in the Big XII, it doesn't mean they can't pass the ball. Florida's every bit as capable to throw the football as Oklahoma is. They have better wide receivers. They have better pass-catching running backs and they have a good offensive line.
