I think he was trying to clear out a space for Crayton, who was right outside of him. Needless to say this is very disappointing, but promising at the same time. Unfortunately this looks like it's gonna be the year of the injury.

Dallas can still control their playoff destiny by winning out. But they have two tough games remaining against the Giants next week and the Ravens the week after that.

 

They will sit behind the loser of the Tampa-Carolina game in the WC chase. They are currently tied with the Falcons and Redskins for the sixth playoff spot. If the Ravens can beat the Skins tonight, the Cowboys will be tied for that last spot.

 

A win today would have been big, but they are still in the driver's seat if they can keep playing well. The next two games should be in much better conditions.

Congrats to the Cardinals for winning the NFC West. Even if its pretty much by default, its still a proud accomplishment for a team whose history is pure futility. I always sorta cheer for the Cardinals because of said futility so I'm really happy to see them in only their second playoff appearance in like 20 years.
