This is by far one of the weirdest things I've ever witnessed

C'mon we're all having fun with it. Can you tell us the story where Chase Daniel put the Tigers on his back to defeat the hated Sooners in a title game after Mizzou had lost all their dignity?

if tebow can't beat michigan in an important game he has no chance against alabama.

ALABAMA 34 FLORIDA 14

(This isn't directed at you rocket, but unless you are being sarcastic, you are the only one who thinks Alabama can win)

All I know is this---craziness aside---is that Alabama plays a full "60 minutes of hell" kind of football. I promise everybody here---head is calm---Florida will have to match Alabama's physicality, to beat Alabama. I know Florida advantages, but I am putting my money on the better prepared team, and trust me when I say this, regardless of what you think of Nick Saban, nobody outworks Nick Saban. NOBODY. This isn't LSU, this isn't Kentucky, this isn't Arkansas, Florida facing. This is Alabama. Alabama isn't going to win with some pretty offense, they will win because they CAN bully any team in America. Alabama will win because they will control the LOS. The will beat Florida because Tebow and that offense will be on the sidelines moreso then the field. Yes, Florida is "pretty" and I know ESPN has gone gay for Tebow and whatnot, but let's face it, even Superman has a kryptonite. A kryptonite has a name: Nick Saban.

Florida may win, I will concede but anybody who thinks Florida is going to be blowing out Alabama is simply leaving in a la-la land of candy canes, unicorns and endless rainbows. The simple truth, Alabama IS 12-0 for a reason and not all of it being luck---cause if you say it's luck, then Florida is 11-1 can be said as being based on luck, like facing a Kentucky team ravaged by injuries basically due to the Alabama game, or Arkansas running out of gas---and the absuridity of Alabama being such a gross underdog is monumentally stupid. If anybody here is putting money on the game, put it on Alabama, cause come Monday you will be happy, cause they are not only going to beat the spread, they will be the Gators.

Alabama will show people why you don't underrate a team that is better then the sums of it's part.

Alabama will win 31-17.

Start crying, Alabama haters. Start crying.

"Oh, don't worry, I know what to do," he said as he deftly circumcised the young third-world boy. "I dream about this every night."

for then Saint Tim Tebow was mistaken for by the Police. He was taken into custody for molestation of a child and sentenced to death. So Saint Tim Tebow died and on the third down he rose and led the Gators to Greatness, before riding off into the Sunset (NFL).

I don't know which posts are better, RedFlash or Meph's.

Hey RedFlash, how about I make a deal with you. If Alabama loses you have to leave NSBB until after the National Title Game. If Alabama wins I won't mention Tim Tebow until after the National Title Game.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but there is alot of talk about Chris Peterson going to Miss. State. I don't have any idea why he would take that job. Not enough money to take that kind of hit to your career.

Tim Tebow thought the message seemed odd. "In dire need of circumcision. Please come at once."

The note had arrived in a manila envelope. There was no return address. Nothing to identify the sender. Just the note. And a round-trip, red-eye ticket to Texas. Still, he felt the urgency. A circumcision was required. He wasn't about to question it.

A man was waiting for him at the the airport. He held a sign that said tebow, and when Tim approached, the man silently ushered him into a waiting limousine. Tim tried to ask questions, but the driver raised the glass barrier that separated the cab from the cabin. Tim rode in silence, watching the stark, Texas landscape roll by.

He was deposited at a house. The moment Tim exited the limo, the car pulled away. Tim barely had time to grab his scalpel and prayer book. Unsure what to do, he approached the front door, which he noticed was ajar. Tim walked in.

"Hello."

Tim Tebow wasn't normally one to be startled, but the night's events had him on edge. The voice came from a shadowed corner.

"Someone sent for me," Tim called out. "An emergency circumcision?"

A young man emerged from the shadow. He wore a curious shirt, burnt orange on one side, blue on the other.

"What's a Ga-horn?" Tim asked.

"Nevermind," the man said. "You have work to do."

Heartened by the reminder there was foreskin to be removed, Tim regained his confidence. "Yes, correct. Where is the youngster? Is he a refugee? Zambian? Namibian? Congolese? Please say Congolese. They have such perfect glandes."

The young man blushed. And instead of replying, he simply lifted his Gahorns jersey. Underneath, he wore nothing.

There was a pause, one long and uncomfortable. The young, semi-nude man looked at the floor. Even in the dim light, tim could see his neck flushed with...what? Excitement? Embarrassment? Tim knelt to examine the subject.

"It looks like you were already circumcised."

"Not by you."

Tim looked up. The two locked eyes. Tim's shaking hand reluctantly dropped the scalpel.

****

Twelve months later, Gator fans still fumed. On the verge of another national championship, their star quarterback had simply quit. Some called it an embarrassing forfeiture. But the liberal folks of California disagreed.

"If Tim Tebow hadn't quit football and moved to California to personally overturn Prop 8 so he could marry his shadowy lover," The LA Times wrote, "gay rights might have never won this battle. And that's more important than any victory on the gridiron."

They're called urban legends for a reason.

Alot of rumblings going around about Chris Petersen being the new head coach at Miss St., but of course he's denying it for now.

http://www.kivitv.com/Global/story.asp?S=9467129

Today's Channel 6 News just recieved this statement from Boise State University Head Football Coach Chris Petersen regarding a rumors that he has been offered a position at Mississippi State. "I have a lot of respect for director of athletics Greg Byrne and the Mississippi State athletic program, but I am not taking the head coaching position at Mississippi State. Mississippi State has not offered me the head coaching position. I normally do not comment on coaching positions at other schools, but felt I needed to do so in this situation. "

"We are very happy here at Boise State and look forward to our upcoming bowl game later this month."

A Mississippi television station cited sources inside Mississippi State University's Athletic Department that Petersen has been offered a four-year contract worth almost $9 million. Our affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi, WAPT, told Today's Channel 6, Petersen met with school officials in Denver to discuss the open position.

I don't know if I buy him going there though. No doubt the SEC is an upgrade from the WAC, but MSU is pretty much the graveyard of the SEC. Their fan base isn't all that big, their facilities aren't on par with the rest of the conference, and Starkville is definitely the worst city in the SEC.

I posted this a few posts up, but everyone was busy talking about Tebow's wang.

Yeah, I missed it. Must have really been trying to avoid reading the Tebow fiction. If that statement about him being offered 4/9 is true, I believe that would double his current pay. So perhaps money talks. MSU is just a bad program as it stands right now. They've only had 2 winning seasons this decade and their winning 2007 season was just really flukeish.

Well if that's the case, then that would triple his current pay. That's quite the pay raise.

Statement from Petersen

After a day of speculation, rumors and Internet reports, Boise State coach Chris Petersen felt compelled to issue a statement about the Mississippi State coaching position.

Boise State released this statement from Petersen on Friday night:

"I have a lot of respect for director of athletics Greg Byrne and the Mississippi State athletic program, but I am not taking the head coaching position at Mississippi State.

"Mississippi State has not offered me the head coaching position. I normally do not comment on coaching positions at other schools, but felt I needed to do so in this situation.
