That kinko's commercial deserves full props just for the marathon coffee pot chug. I wonder how many takes they had to do on that.

so you're getting the game in madison?

With Sunday Ticket. They're showing the MN/JAX game on the local Fox channel.

sulley, that link keeps freezing on my compy....guess it's just too slow of a connection for me...thanks though.

it keeps freezing on mine and i have a 10 meg connection. i think there's a too many people watching it right now. it's not too bad of a stream for me, though.

why is there no flag for pi? is there a rule superceding the pi? the ref who had the best look threw the flag? did he get something in his eye as usual?

It's pretty clear one ref didn't know the rule on the faux PI call on the fake punt.

Now they're picking up regular PI calls too. Someone doesn't know his job -- or someoneS

So, 1st down they miss a wide open receiver in the middle of the field on a bad throw.

2nd down the ball hits the receiver but the catch is not made.

3rd down receiver is covered.

2/3 plays would have been decent gains for a competent team.

it just seems strange to me. i don't think i've seen them pick up a flag like that before. usually they pick it up if the pass was tipped or something and they explain why it was picked up. this was a case of the ref closest to the play throwing a flag and then picking it up without explanation. if you throw the flag, you obviously saw something that made you do it, and it wasn't just a dropped flag.

Thanks for not showing the replay on what Briggs did, Fox.

That's because the refs botched it so badly Briggs didn't do anything.

Can someone kindly remind Devin that no yards are gained by running horizontally across the GD field?!?

They were just going to run out the clock. If he didn't break one, it wasn't going to matter what Hester did aside from him coughing it up.

He's done it more than just that play dude. He's not turning up the field when he should on many kicks.

Hester was always at his best when he took off straight up the field on kicks. He doesn't do that anymore. He always looks for the sidelines. I guess that's what happens when you've lost a couple of steps.

Haha, I can't believe some of you guys thought the Rams would beat the Bears.

If you don't have quite as much speed, all the more reason to make sure you are getting up the field as soon as possible after catching the ball. Only the truly elite speed demons are going to outrun entire coverage teams across the field when they have all the angles and a head of steam to boot. Even cream of the crop speedsters are going to get taken down most times.

Why did the Bears decline that roughing the kicker penalty at the end of the half? Isn't accepting that an automatic first down? Sure it probably wouldn't have mattered, but what if the Rams broke a 92 yard TD on that last play of the half? I'd rather be in control of the ball running out of the clock rather than having to rely on the other team to do it.
