This season is slowly but surely turning out to be what I thought it would be in August. Nice job getting everyone's hopes up with some surprises earlier in the year, but what we're seeing right now is the real Bears. Bad coaching, aging overpaid defenders, no real playmakers on offense.

 

They may finish slightly better than expected, but make no mistake: this is not a good team, and it's the 2nd disappointing season in a row for Lovie Smith -- a coach whose luster is very quickly rubbing off.

That's what I'm thinking. I know it sounds pessimistic, but its true, they haven't looked good since the first Lions game. But what sucks is its not necessarily the Bears offense thats been a failure, its the highly paid Bears defense that has been really really really bad.
