Well, the Dolphins held on, and are now over .500 for the first time since December of 2005. Damn, that hurts to say. Next week, bring on the Raiders!

Wooo! Only one game behind the division leaders too! TGJr is looking great. Raiders should obviously be a win, but we better not look ahead to the Patriots and get upset.

Gus Johnson should announce every sporting event.

Dolphins aren't consistent enough to take anything for granted.

hahhahahah the eagles suck.

not at all, but they're not great either. probably 9-7 and either miss the playoffs or lose in the first round.

You guys don't suck, you just faced the best team in the NFL.

Print those Giants-Titans Super Bowl tickets already and save us the final few months of unimportant football.

I would be perfectly fine with that.

I was fairly pleased with the Titans' play yesterday. The Bears did a good job of stuffing the run completely, but that would be expected with 8-9 in the box all day.

I was extremely impressed with the passing game. As a team, the Titans rushed for negative yardage going in at halftime, and Heimerdinger made the adjustment then to open the offense and have Kerry Collins throw the football. It resulted in almost 300 yards passing and, perhaps, a chance to force teams to stop loading up the box. They likely will, though, and for good reason - it's much more likely that Collins will have a bad day than the LenDale/CJ duo.

Brandon Jones is yet again coming into his own. He's shown flashes of being a #1 receiver in the past, but with the need to throw the football the past three games, he's really stepped up. In those three games (Colts, Packers, Bears) Jones has 16 catches for 156 yards. And the tight end duo (Bo Scaife and Alge Crumpler) is probably the best receiving duo of tight ends in the NFL. Without them, we probably lose two of the last three games.

Finally, Rex Grossman is not a good quarterback. He missed some absolutely wide open receivers yesterday and made some unexplainably dumb decisions (scrambling out of the pocket and sliding for a loss instead of throwing the ball away, completing a pass to Matt Forte on a screen five yards behind the line of scrimmage with at least two Titans standing right beside Forte instead of throwing it at his feet). If Orton were the QB yesterday, there's a good chance the Bears would have pulled that one out. That said, I couldn't understand the lack of deep passes. The Titans are utterly susceptible to deep passes due to the man coverage, but Grossman only threw a couple (and completed both) that I remember seeing. He was under pressure somewhat (we've given a lot more pressure than that), but you've still got to get the ball down the field.

This team could well enter the week 16 game against the Steelers at 14-0. I can't believe that's the case, but the biggest roadblock right now is a mediocre Jets team. Otherwise, we have the Jags, Lions, Texans and Browns left until the final two weeks. Gotta get homefield wrapped up before Pittsburgh.

It'd be nice if we could get a rematch with you guys, but of course, that's too much to ask for.

Haha, a rematch would be a lot of fun. Hard to say who'd win the rematch (I'm sure both of us have strong opinions  ) but it'd almost certainly be a great game.

Carolina plays NY Week 16. I'm pretty sure I know what'll happen, but I'd like a shot at them before conceding the NFC to them. No doubt they have played the best football by some margin through 9 games of anyone, though.

This entire game has been extremely sloppy. Dumb penalties, awful officiating, this game has it all!

The only thing this game is missing is Norv Turner choking, however, Ken Whisenhunt is filling in admirably.

Much as I love Mike Singletary, I don't like that call at all.

I understand Singletary wants a power football team, but he's gotta understand they don't have that right now. Playaction pass would have worked great right there, I think.

Singletary definitely has a very talentless team (save a few guys) playing hard and being semi-competitive against mid-tier teams. He should get a contract somewhere after the year.

I wonder if his tirade will follow him, keeping him from getting a shot as a HC. I'd like him to get a real shot, but I think some GMs will shy away because of that.

Since there isn't a NFL Week 11 thread.....

Bengals-Eagles game ends in a tie.

LAME

If by lame, you mean awesome, than yes.

Both teams suck.

Awesome? What is this, soccer?
