San Antonio beats Boston in Boston. ^_^

Cleveland up by 10 at he half, and LBJ only has 8. It should be a fun second half. That 1-on-1 interview with Kobe and LeBron was awesome, although it's from the Olympics.

Some awesomely bad calls by the officials.

yeah welcome to playing the lakers.

anyway i think my favorite one was the drive by gasol where he clearly got hacked and then the ball clearly went off his leg, and they called out of bounds on cleveland. nice job guys.

It's funny that this has happened twice now. Celtics run up a long winning streak; Celtics play the Lakers; Celtics lose to the Lakers; Celtics proceed to drop game after game.

The foul was probably going to be on the ground, so why call the foul when you can just let the Lakers have the ball out of bounds. I don't really see the big deal with it. The Lakers get the ball either way.

Jeez that was just terrible officiating in the final 8 minutes.

I saw the "foul" on Varejao against Gasol that should have been a no-call on the offensive rebound, but I didn't see much either way. They were letting the players play - at one point midway through the fourth the Lakers had only taken 9 FT's.

Holy craptastic. The Lakers outscore the Cavs 31-16 in the 3rd.

Odom had a double-double (15 pts, 10 reb) in the third quarter alone.

As much as I am rooting for the Cavs, I can't help but think that this is the Lakers' year. I used to dislike Kobe a lot and hate all of the hype he gets, but throughout the Olympics and this season, I've slowly become a big fan.

i don't want it to be the lakers' year. it's always their year. make it be someone else's year.

I hope it's never the Lakers year.

I hope Adam Morrison is crying on national TV in the NBA too.

KD's february numbers

33.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.8 apg. 1.0 bpg, .554% from the field, .563% from 3, .852% FT

He's averaging over 42 minutes a game in the last month+, so he'll burn out before too long, but he really is a scoring machine

yeah, good going. he's costing them Griffin.

we're going to end up with thabeet and hansbrough, i can feel it

Apparently Jordan Farmar greeted his new Laker teammate Adam Morrison by sticking a picture of Morrison crying in his locker. :)

A typical Pacer game this year..goes down to the last 10 seconds (if I'm counting right, that's 20 games on the season with a 3 point final margin or less or OT, and there have been several other games that were 4 or 5 points).

TJ Ford hit a jumper with 0.8 seconds left for the Pacers to go up 2.

Cleveland comes out of the timeout and threw a lob to Lebron. Granger knocked it away and the Pacer fans celebrated. But they called a foul on Granger and the fans were irate. Lebron knocks down two free throws with 0.4 left (47 points on the night).

So what do the Pacers do? They run the exact same play as Cleveland did, and the refs made the exact same bad call on Lebron as they had on Granger. Granger hits the first free throw with 0.1 left, then intentionally misses the second one to win the game.

This Pacers team is 11 games under .500 with wins against Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, Lakers, Houston, Atlanta, Detroit, etc. Of course losses at the buzzer to teams like Washington on Sunday are the reason they are where they are.

For example, in their last 7 games:

Wins: Miami, Orlando, Cleveland

Losses: Knicks, Minnesota, Philly, Washington

They just don't make sense. They're good enough to do damage in the playoffs, but they're not good enough to make the playoffs.

The PBP for that game on ESPN is hilarious. It's got Ford's jumper, LeBron's FT's and Granger's FT all at 0:00.
