Bynum out 8-12 weeks with a torn MCL.

If last year was any indication 8-12 weeks means the rest of the regular season and the playoffs.

Yeah, hopefully this time there are no loose bodies involved.

How do you respond to losing your center? By going for 61 points on 19-of-31 shooting and hitting all 20 free throws.

Kobe and Pau: 92 points on 31-of-48 shooting, 3-of-6 from three and 27-of-28 free throws.

Rest of team: 34 points on 13-of-36 shooting, 4-of-10 from three and 4-of-8 free throws.

To be fair, they were playing D'Antoni and the Knicks.

i finally watched an entire sixers game from start to finish, and they lose on a last-second three by ray allen, when even the announcer is saying during the timeout "pierce is going to drive the ball and either take the shot or kick it out to ray allen." the most obvious situation in history and they leave the #2 three-point shooter of all time wide open. nice job a-holes.

Is "rest of team" a euphemism for Jamal Crawford?

First player since Kareem in 1975 to get a triple-double with 50+ points. That's absurd.

kobe had a very james worthy-esque line. 61 points, 0 rebounds

How is that James Worthy-esque?

They somehow on ESPN are actually trying to debate which game was better Lebron's or Kobe's....I don't care if Kobe scored 61 scoring over 50 points and still getting a triple double is just disgusting Edited by rchap24

I think deciding which was "more better" is just semantics when you're talking about those kinds of gaudy numbers.

first half in OKC, the first game between Oden and Durant.... OKC 60, Portland 40. Durant 22 points, 2 boards, 2 assists... Oden 0 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, 2 fouls

They have plenty of capable perimeter players although none are close to Durant's ceiling. If Oden can come close to fulfilling his potential he's a much better fit for the Blazers. Between Roy, Outlaw, Fernandez, Bayless, Batum, Webster, et. al. they already have a glut of combo guard and swingmen types.
