Now I'm afraid Rose is going to get fed up with this crap team and start thinking of a way out.

Why? Last I checked players that get drafted #1 overall alawys go to bad teams, for the most part. He had to know what he was getting himself into.

I'm starting to fall into the 'this team isn't very good' camp. That Timberwolves game was atrocious. Tyrus was very good for the most part up until he was letting guys on Minnesota jump all over him late in the game for some big rebounds. Whatever, if we don't make the playoffs, maybe Stern can rig the lottery again so we can get the #1 pick. If we don't get Griffin though, we better trade that pick for something more meaningful as soon as possible.

There are only 3 guys I'd be interested in in this draft: Griffin, Greg Monroe and James Harden.

Isn't Harden a SF? Do we really need another guy who can't play the 4 or the 5?

No, Harden is a 2. He can replace Ben Gordon. Of course the Bulls won't get him unless they have a top 3 pick.

There aren't that many great 4 or 5s - Griffin, Monroe, Mullens and Thabeet will all be gone by the time the Bulls pick at the bottom of the lottery. Jordan Hill (I don't like his game at the next level) or Patrick Patterson should be around.

I heard Harden is very injury prone though.

OK, sorry horrible joke

He actually did have some hamstring issues last year.

James Harden would be a perfect compliment to Derrick Rose and I'm not just saying that because he's the best basketball player to ever play for ASU. He is going to be a legitimate star. His strength/athleticism/body control is awesome.

I don't think he'll ever be anything great defensively. He's 6'5, really strong, has long arms but has average speed. He'd never be a lock down guy, especially against top shooting guards.

John Paxson is the worst GM in Chicago. The Bulls are embarassing - with all of the high draft picks and financial flexibility they have had over the last several years they should be a perenial contender in this awful Conference.

Pax is lucky the Hawks have been as good as they have and the Bears were in it until the end. The press seems to have forgotten about him so far this season.

So let me rephrase that can he play D better than the Matador Ben Gordon?

Without a doubt, but that's not hard to do. I think his defense is underrated in college because ASU plays zone exclusively.

The long arms would probably help, but there's no chance we'd have a shot at him unless the lottery helps us out again

Ughh, Budinger is a joke.

You're going to eat those words when the Bulls leave the NBA and enter the professional indoor volleyball circuit.

Yeah and more importantly has the size to actually body up on a two offensively and defensively. Having a 2 that can work a pick and roll with Rose would be a great weapon as opposed to just shooting long jumpers.

Yeah definitely....With Rose right now Gordon really makes no sense with him he's to small and all he can do is shoot(sometimes)

I actually don't mind Gordon with Rose. But they still need a big guard. Gordon should be a compliment and be a guy that can shoot the ball and open up the lane for Rose and a good 2G to create.

Gordon is a horrible compliment to Rose. Not because he can't shoot, but he because he insists on dribbling before he shoots. Why can't he just catch passes and shoot? He is a one dimensional player and plays horrible defense to boot. He needs to move on.

I'm not watching this game, but why Hughes ever plays is beyond me. I guess they want to make him earn his ridiculous contract. Personally, I think he'd earn it better on the bench.

I think we can pseudo-officially put the "is Boston going to break the Bulls' wins record" talk to rest. They lost to the Bobcats tonight and have dropped 5 of 7 and are now 29-7.

When is comcast going to figure out that fans would rather watch a good team like the Hawks instead of these pieces of Veterans Committee.
