I hate squib kicks

Teams keep getting burned by squib kicks and keep doing it.

Bears should be 6-0

They had no business winning this game even if they had won it.

But every game we've lost theres an argument that we should have won. Of course 1 of our 3 wins we could hav elost.

Should have kicked that FG

Assuming everything else that happened afterwards went the same way. Which isn't the case, this isn't an econ class.

One second?!?!? One second left?!?!?!

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm so [expletive] frustrated right now.

ONE [expletive] SECOND!?!?!?

It's a joke, I'm not an idiot.

As for the sentiment the Bears had no business winning this game, the yardage was even, the time of possession was even, the Bears had more first downs, it was simply an even game. The Bears had just as much business winning this game as the Falcons.

Stupid squib kicks when the opposing team just needs field position. Stupid soft zone protection when the team needs a quick deep out.

the bears are who we thought they were!

3-3 and actually looking competent on offense is a lot better than I thought they'd be.

Now I know how Arizona fans felt after that MNF game 2 years ago.

It's actually how we SHOULD have felt had their kicker not choked on an easy game winner. A lot of people forget that play even happened.

So, who should get the goat award for this week's debacle?

My vote's for Lovie Smith's coaching.

Special teams?

Whoever called for the squib kick. The Falcons don't need a TD, why get them in play for the go-ahead points on one play?

Just [expletive] ridiculous.

Why the hell do you squib kick? Bears are known for their special teams.

They couldn't make a stop on 3rd and long (even extra long). The Falcons ate up almost the entire first half and we were lucky that they couldn't manage more than a FG on any of those drives.

Can you dream up a more painful way to lose a game?

I guess the only thing I can think of is if the Bears were up 7 with 2 seconds left, and they brought Rex in to take a knee, but he missed the snap and fumbled, the other team recovers and scores a TD, then the PAT snap was botched, causing the holder to pick it up and run it into the end zone for a game winning 2 point conversion.
