I fully expect Tennessee to lose to Georgia, but I don't think it'll be the debacle I've heard some predict.

The defense has been very good all year and if we can get the rest of the offensive players to play as well as they did in the first three games, along with Nick Stephens playing like he did last night, this could be a competitive game.

That said, UGA's beatdown by Alabama last week couple with our beatdowns of them the past two seasons will likely have them craving orange blood.

Early prediction: 31-17 Georgia

Nice win yesterday for the Bruins. Now time for another blowout.

Mizzou/OSU will be on ESPN.

This game worries me quite a bit. There aren't too many offenses that I think are capable of hanging with Mizzou, but I think OK State might be able to. Good thing it's at home and on a big stage.

Notre Dame will have to play their best game of the year to beat UNC. They looked fantastic for 3 quarters yesterday but fell asleep in the driver's seat in the 4th. That will not fly vs the Heels. They also may want to think about having someone on the roster who can find that spot between the yellow sticks on field goals (they are commonly called "uprights").

Ball State should have another easy win on their hands in their debut game as a ranked team.

You can probably throw KU on the upset alert in any game they're favored in for the rest of the year. Though we do play a lot better at home.

Wisconsin at home on the verge of going 0-3 in the Big10, and should have beaten OSU last weekend. I would put Penn St on high upset alert.

so is something an "upset alert" if it's under 80%?

Also, my wife is being flown to Dallas on Friday to work at the Texas/OU game.

Nice to see them here instead of "other games of interest. \:D/

They should be included in this week's Pick'em contest. I believe that's based on the AP poll, not the USA Today.

You might want to tell her to watch out for wearing crimson. Its a really great game to go to.

Here is a list of fried foods this year. Thats right Chicken Fried Bacon...

Going down to Columbia for the Mizzou game this week. Faurot should be rocking with the 7 o'clock kickoff. Should be pretty awesome.

god i can't wait for this game, though i'm legitimately scared of texas turning the tables on us.

in 2001 we came into the game ranked below them, and on the way out everyone said "why was texas ranked higher?" i really dont want to be on the receiving end of that comment this year

I think this game is going to come down to turnovers and special teams. OU has a bit more pressure on them to win this game, but beating Texas is something they know how to do. Texas has played better than I had thought they would all season, but need to run the ball a little better and showed signs of it last week. The Texas secondary makes me a bit nervous being so young.

The Big Ten is a lot deeper than it looked at first glance. After Penn State and Ohio State, there's a cluster of 4-5 teams in the 21-30 range (Northwestern, Michigan State, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota?). In a year where Michigan might be the 9th place team in the conference, it says more about how good the rest of the teams in the conference have been than how bad Michigan is (although, they are bad, don't get me wrong).

The SEC is still the best conference top to bottom, but the Big Ten could actually be in the discussions for #2 (Big 12 has 5 great teams, but they are incredibly top-heavy), which almost seemed silly at the beginning of the year.

Okie State's going to be a tough game for us. We're definitely a better team, but as TT said, they've got the offense to hang with us. It'll be a good test for our D going into Texas next week. I'm also glad we're playing a real team this week, before Texas. If we were playing some crappy team, I'd fear we were looking ahead to much. Playing a team like OSU makes us stay focused on this game and worry about winning this game.

Man I disagree with a lot of this post. Michigan is bad. That's why they're the ninth best team in the conference. It has little to do with the overall strength of the Big Ten.

The Big 12 is way better. Way. They have 3, maybe 4 teams that would win the Big 10 easily. (MU, UT, OU, maybe TT.) KU and Okie State would be in the top echelon of the Big 10, too. CU would be a middling team. The rest of the Big 12 is average to awful, but it's certainly not worse than the middle to bottom part of the Big 10.

Still can't believe that Northwestern and Ball State are both ranked in at least one poll

Don't worry, only half of that will be true next week. MSU is going to clobber Northwestern (sorry Jon).
