It would be depressing considering it would be 100 yrs since the last world series appearance, and one hundred and thirty-seven yrs since the last title. So if the Cubs don't have a world series appearance (or title) byt 2045, I seriously go to considering giving up baseball. So ok Cubs, you have 36 yrs to convince me you want to win, or I might root for the Portland Fire (when Florida or Tampa is relocated by 2020).

Actually trying to raise some money for my brother-in-law (a great Cubs fan and father of four) who is entering his 4th year battling Multiple Myeloma (blood cancer).

 

Every Hundred Years is a book which is my diary of the 2008 season as a Cubs fan. Had to add an epilogue after Oct. 4 with a happier, albeit fictional ending, thanks to our favorite team.
