Tomorrow, Harden pitches well after some needed rest and the Cubs offense plays more loose without all the pressure. Then Sunday, they figure out Lowe and hit him, Then they get game 5 at home. Then, after the huge comeback, they are a lock to win it all- like the Red Sox did after coming back against the Yankees. Come on, if you didn't think there was a chance, you wouldn't be watching tomorrow.

I don't know about all that but let's get one at a time starting tomorrow night.

It's 3 soapdropping games, we can do this.

We have a chance at a Red Sox moment. It looks like all these series are going to start out 2-0. I think, of all the teams, you would have to say we have the best chance of pulling out of it.

no pressure.. one game at a time.. come on we can do this! "believe" ](*,)

I do believe... but saying no pressure is really hilarious.

Without pressure?

The idea being that nobody expects us to win anymore and that it's the Dodgers' to lose.

Not sure I buy into it but whatever works.

I'm not really optimistic at all, but in the year when the Cubs finally win the World Series, wouldn't it have to go like this?

The Red Sox had to overcome a 3-0 deficit to finally win theirs, it only makes sense that we'd have to do something similar to end ours.

By the way, when the Red Sox came back from 3-0, Joe Torre was managing the opposition. Just sayin...

If the Cubs win tomorrow and score more than 6 runs I will be highly optimistic. If Soriano Homers and the Cubs win... it's over... Soriano on a tear = no one can beat us.

Maybe "NO presure" was not the right phrase, but nobody expects them to win. This is essentially the same offense that couldn't hit last year. That's 0 for 5. Pathetic. No expectations. How can an offense that has played so badly for 5 straight games have a lot of pressure on them? The worst pressure is when you are expected to perform. Okay, LESS pressure. Much less.

Maddux has pitched in relief.

Not since Wednesday, though, so the rest would be identical (even though he was warming up Thursday night). The decision for the Dodgers is between Lowe on short rest after throwing 6 innings or Maddux on short rest after throwing 1 inning.
