  1. Hopefully more so just RF, considering Fukudome sucks.
  2. According to ESPN the Cubs have exercised their option on Rich Harden for 2009. Idk if it's online because I got it thru my MLB Alerts on TXT messaging from ESPN.
  3. Or just keep your best players and see if anyone has a water cooler they don't want anymore in return for Kosuke. I wanted Fontenot in there for the last 3 months, especially the last month of the season when it was obvious Fukudome was getting benched. then all of a sudden here comes #1 to save the Cubs in the playoffs, yay!
  4. The Cubs sure did try to hand the other team a win. They did, three straight times.
  5. Yeah I definitely only clicked it once. Apparently its my 4 cents.
  6. The Cubs need to man up. They obviously weren't getting many calls during this NLDS. They couldn't get anything on their own either. No team is going to hand them a win in the playoffs. They have to have the tenacity to go out there and just bury teams like they are capable of. Unfortunately we have to wait another year. But I'd love to see a new kind of theme for this team. We can stop being so 'lovable'. Who cares what other people think, true fans will still be there. We need to just look at the other team as the one things standing between us and our ultimate goal, not just another stop on the way there. This team needs to grow some balls, get some leaders, and just rape the whole league. No holding back, especially after this. /rant. Oh and I find it hilariously ironic that the Lions are starting a Manny Ramirez against the Bears.

  8. Clone David Ortiz?
  9. Big time K. Bout time, lets not give up a 2-out run now...
  10. You'd think we could at least get the umps on our side....
  11. Certainly depends on what was shaved.
  12. I thought Maddux was expected for Game 4?
  13. The really stupid part is that there is only one pitcher in this series that is better than Billingsley, and we have him, but he wouldn't be available for a hypothetical Game 5 because...well, I've never quite figured out that because. the dodgers would be scared to face Z in chicago for a game 5 2 straight playoffs wins under the players belts...confidence back to their normal levels and beyond your dead wrong they wouldn't be crapping their ---SOAPDROPPING--- pants No, the Cubs would be. Billingsley pwns the living crap out of them. The one Manny homer Zambrano is guaranteed to give up would be more than enough to win the game. 17.2 innings pitched. 22 strikeouts 6 walks 3.07 ERA 1.25 WHIP That would be his career starts against the Cubs. Three games to sample from. He pitched four shutout innings of relief against us in 2007. Albeit good, those numbers aren't fantastic. It's not like he's lights out against the Cubs.
  14. Well, uhhhhhh, that's.....balls?
  15. That tends to scratch me right where I itch as well.
