you guys try to imagine what it's like to watch this team every week

Is it worse than being a SF Giants fan. It has to be terrible.

Getting to watch Tim Lincecum every 5 days has to better than the Lions.

Plus they're starting to build a good farm system. Conor Gillaspie and Buster Posey will be really good hitters. They also have terrific pitching prospects.

Bumgarner is such an awesome name.

Umm, wow.

Ok, scrap the Giants idea.

How about Baltimore Orioles.

Replace "Conor Gillaspie and Buster Posey" with "Nick Markakis and Matt Wieters" and you pretty much have the same story.

The Lions have good players too....................

name em

Calvin Johnson, Roy Williams and Ernie Sims basically sums it up.

I like Smith, but won't see him too much more today since they're down 31.

Hester really doesn't look the same as a return man.

I think its more the special teams being different this year than Hester.

The team leads the NFL in drops, largely due to Roy & Calvin's focus lapses

Ernie Sims is good but they still have nothing even remotely resembling a pro bowler

This game feels like a 2006 game, where I get mad when the other team scores because 31-7 isn't as cool as 31-0

I miss those days.

What the hell is Hester doing today?!?!

He looks very tentative, not quick at all. I don't know if it's because there are no lanes to run in, or if he's still a little hurt, or what.

It's not the same right now though.

The pinnacle of those days was that game against SF when we got 40 points in the first half, and I spent the entire halftime debating with my friends how many points we would score in the game. As it turns out they didn't score at all in the second half but it was fun to ask questions like "when is the last time an NFL team scored 70 points in a game?"

That was apparently Orton's "oh crap" brace for impact. Tried to make a hit, then thought better of it.

Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams are 2 of the best in the league.

Packers still down 17-10.

Matt Ryan just threw a pick in the redzone.

Bah.
