it's early, but darling and gwynn have been far worse than stockton so far, and that's something considering he already called ryan dempster ron

What is that ambient noise at wrigley? It sounds kind of like a thousand people are booing whenever the crowd isn't making noise, or a little like there was a highway right outside. Are other people getting this?

I still can't believe Kosuke is batting second. What a joke.

I still can't believe Lee is batting third. What a joke.

That's gotta be the worst 2-3 hitters in the playoffs. In history?

Except Lee has been there all season. Kosuke has been in Lou's dog house for months and barely plays, then the playoffs roll around and it's "hey, you're batting second today"

If Dempster can handle Manny like that all game, it will be a long night for the Dodgers!

=D>

How are you enjoying your first October off in awhile?

I will survive, LOL. There are some good series to watch here. Plus if it means lowering payroll and pairing off dead weight, I am all for missing the playoffs a year or two!

Its all good, after Lohses contract, the Yankees are the only team who will be able to afford anything in the off season.

Actually, I hope CC stays in the NL and goes West. If Boras continues to price Tex into the stratosphere, I doubt the Yankees bite. I think AJ may be the one guy they get. I am actually hoping for Garland and looking at some trade opportunities!

Lowe isn't on it at all. I'd like to see the Cubs score a couple runs before he finds a groove. I like the start, though. Even if it didn't produce a run.

Peavys available. It all depends on what the Yanks are willing to give up. Ive been sick of the Red Sox for a while now, and already sick of the Rays, so hopefully the Yanks can take back whats theirs.

I would be throwing things with excitement if the Cubs had a playoff game end like that State Farm ad. I'd probably break a bone or two, too.
