DEUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE!!!!!!!

Who?

the correct response is "who dat?"

No, I seem to recall having heard of a guy named Deuce who played for the Saints, but I've seen the Saints this year and hadn't seen any proof.

Well, they kept him out the first three weeks since he is coming off a knee surgery. He looked pretty dang good today.

The Redskins are double teaming Ware and not even slowing him down right now.

It's nuts. It reminds me of 2003 when Texas Tech played Ole Miss and BJ Symons threw for 661 yards and Eli threw for 409. That game was a complete mockery of passing defense.

First score of the game is a 21-yard TD to Witten.

The Raiders just sent Janikowski out for a 76 yard field goal at the end of the first half. He didn't even make the endzone.

Raiders kick a FG to tie the game and then allow Sproles to get a huge return down to the Oakland 35 with 2:30 to play.

Stupid Raiders. It's 3rd and 5 on your own 44 with 1:30 left. You need to pick up a first down and have 3 timeouts left. So what do you do? Instead of running some short routes to pick up the first down, you send everyone deep. Well done, idiots.

And then they don't even come close on 4th down. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

give up 3 in the first 3 quarters then 25 in the 4th?

also, I'm 8 for 11 against the spread so far and 19-7 in the past two weeks, over .500 every week.

So what do you guys think of the NFC East now? I think the teams from best to worst are:

  • 1. Giants
    2. Cowboys
    3. Redskins
    4. Eagles

But I think all four are in the top 10 of the NFL overall. It's just amazing how good the NFCE is this year.

LOL. They're showing a bit of the Raiders' postgame press conference on ESPN and somebody asked Kiffin about getting fired. Awesome.

Hey, Derek Anderson is still absolutely horrible at football but Cincinnati is even worse, which means he'll probably still be starting in Week 6 when Cleveland plays again.

And Carolina not only won but actually played well doing it. I'm confused.

the Cowboys are still tops in that division for sure

Rodgers think he has a separated shoulder, so we'll see what happens this week. Great job not signing Simms or any other veteran QB in the offseason. That was probably the stupidest decision that any GM could've made.

If Rodgers misses any substantial time, we're done.

Sweet. I love beating teams in their own house and getting no respect. The redskins by no means played their best football, but won anyway.

That goes unnoticed though I guess. This isn't baseball where it's more or less a coin flip most of the time. I know that Tony Romo has a dreamy smile, but honestly they haven't won a playoff game in 13 years. Are they good? Sure. Could it be possible that they are overrated? Probably.

I'm not trying to talk any junk, I just find the whole "America's Team" thing obnoxious. It wears on my nerves and is unwarranted.

i've got maybe a dumb question:

i just got hd directv and my package includes the nfl sunday ticket. the problem is the games i'm getting in the sunday ticket package aren't in hd. are they all supposed to be in hd?

with Extra Innings, you have to upgrade to the Super Fan package (or whatever it's called) to get the HD games

That's true for Sunday Ticket as well. Even if someone subscribes to the regular HD service they still need to purchase the add-on packages for the sports subscriptions to get the games in HD.

The Redskins definitely played an awesome game and deserved to win. I think that if anything, this game proves that if you want to compete in the NFC East you have to establish the running game. The Skins were able to run at will on us today and really controlled the clock; we couldn't run to save our lives. I really underestimated how much we would miss Roy Williams too. He may suck in pass coverage, but his presence was definitely missed in our run D. Portis cut right through our secondary and nobody could stop him today.
