Considering how well we have been playing in Milwaukee, someone should sneak into Wrigley and turn on all of the sprinklers, ala Bull Durham, and try to get the games moved to Wrigley North.

I thought we were referring to it as our back up ballpark, now?

I just hope the Cubs don't let up after these two great games in Milwaukee, like they did last year around this time when they steamrolled the Pirates at Wrigley and then went down to Miami and laid a big soapdropping egg for three games.

I'd love to see the Cubs hand Sabathia his only loss in a Brewer uniform.

Man, I finally have tickets to a game again, and what a match up.

I'm 3-7 with Cubs games I've been to this year, but those 3 wins are the last 3 times I went.

All of the losses came when the Cubs had lost less than a dozen games at home.

What the hell.

I had a similar run to start the season... I'm 4-1 since, though.

This game is on WGN? Nationaly? You do know that tommorow is tuesday right? Not wensday.

First off all, neither game is on WGN at all, Wednesday's game is on ESPN

Second of all, lol @ your spelling

I've got tickets for Thursday game, so a win today and tomorrow would be nice.

But I think CC will get the win today, and I wouldn't be shocked if they win the next two games.

Sabathia is a choker and he's going to be under some kind of pressure tomorrow night. I say he struggles with his command and the Cubs hand him his first NL loss, 6-3. Soriano goes yard at least once.

I would be most pleased with a win tomorrow and a clincher on Saturday, as I'll be at both. :)

I vote for the Saturday clinch as well. National game, show the world (well, those who don't already know). Sounds like a plan.

On the off chance they don't clinch in a game that's being shown nationally (WGN, ESPN, etc.), what are the chances WGN will rebroadcast? Dan Roan said last night that Z's no-hitter will be shown on (I think) Friday night, so any chance for the clincher to be shown? Any ideas? I know WGN would show the after game stuff, but I'd love to see the whole game when it happens (preferably live, but rebroadcast would be fine).

"Want a donut?"

"I'd better not. I have what doctors call a little bit of a weight problem. I used to grab bear claws as a kid, two at a time, and I'd get them lodged right in this region here."

Just keep the train moving, Demp.

I agree that CC will be under an enormous amount of pressure tonight.

And after the way the team has bounced back and the crazy Howry that happened in Milwaukee, I expect the crowd to be in full playoff mode tonight.

I believe the Cubs will hand CC his first loss as Brewer on their way to taking two of three. As a side effect the Cubs will be unable to personally eliminate the Cardinals from the NL Central Crown (the magic number is two) - oh, well, would have been nice to see.

The only thing I'm wary about is Wood being used in a very close game and having not pitched in 5 days.

Lou should of pitched him yesterday.
