Since 9/1 through Game 1 of the DH today, the Brewers have lit the baseball world on fire by going a staggering 3-10 in that stretch. 3-7 at home.

I find it hard to believe that Arizona didn't have it all but locked up by the end of August. Really, the race shouldn't have all that close.

There's an baseball cliche that a team takes on the personality of it's head coach/manager. And if this holds true, then the 2nd yr in a row the Brewers colapse in the middle of a playoff run, what does that tell you about Ned Yost? Nevermind he is not a in game strategian, nor a "raw raw" coach, and now he has allowed his team to get unfocused for the 2nd yr in a row....Man if Yost isn't fired the second their season is over....there might be a riot in Milwaukee.

 

But that's good/bad for us...

Unless we let the Brewers sweep us in the upcoming 3-game series... they are done, definitely in the Central, and maybe in the WC too.

 

 

3-11 since September started for Milwaukee. 2 of those wins vs SD and 1 vs CIN.
