If they were playing a little tight in Sept. this should loosen them up a little bit. Hopefully next weekend, they'll be jumping around again and of course again in late October.

This might be the jolt they needed to break out of that funk.

Let's get win #90 tomorrow, boys!

White Sox have just blown a 7-0 lead. Thames with a grand slam.

Prolly means it'll take longer for Sportscenter and more highlights for those of us outside of Chicago.

Screw that, let's just win our next 4 and do the Divisional Crown celebration after the game on Thursday!

I'm going to have to stop by the truck stop by the interstate tomorrow and pick up a copy of the Trib and keep it for all time.

I want to show it to my unborn son when he's old enough to understand.

From some Astros fansite:

I'm going to keep my contempt simple. When asked about or in there is in any way a reference to Zambrano's no hitter, I will simply not acknowledge this game. The Astros should never ... ever play the Cubs in Milwaukee. Therefore, the no hitter does not count to me.

Someone call the Ambulance quick... WAAAAA WAAAAA...

Get no hit, I'll keep it that simple.

Yeah, shocker that Astros fans aren't rational. Their team just got no-hit and, hey, their house might be destroyed by a hurricane. But let's mock them.

This day just keeps getting better.

I normally don't take joy in seeing the Sox lose, but after my buddy texted me "I hope Z doesn't get the no hitter" after the 7th inning tonight, I'm enjoying this right now.

This almost makes up for my house being flooded today...(ok...it doesn't...but it does take some of the edge off)....historic floods, 100 years since last title...First no-no in over 30 years....something's a brewing this year...

You too, huh. At least a tree didn't fall on your house too.

Yeah...no tree...but both of my cars were completely submerged in water and I had 3 foot in my living room and my basement was completely submerged...so...depending on what the rest of the house looks like I may have traded you for the tree. :D

Oh, good call.

To the St. Louis guys reading this, do you know anywhere in West County where you can buy the Trib? Do bookstores still sell various papers?

Raisin, I don't think he was mocking their pitfalls of the hurricane. I know when my friends are complaining about something with irrationality, we refer to the "Waaambulance" all the time.

If I'm wrong about it, well, then i'm an idiot ;)

This was awesome. I missed the first few innings because I went out to eat with my family and didn't know the game was on FSSW. When I got home, I was about to tune into the NFL game when I decided to check FSSW. I'm sure glad I did.

I have a baseball that is signed by Don Cardwell, Burt Hooten, and Milt Pappas. Now I'll have to add Zambrano to that one!

Exactly... he makes no reference to even living in Houston. Also, I made no reference to the hurricane, so I will mock that person about baseball for sure. Especially when he's that much of a moron to say the no hitter doesn't count because it was played in MIL... lame excuse.

White Sox hit a grand slam. 11-7. Has there ever been a game where the home and road teams both hit grand slams in the same inning?
Posted
Another grand slam, this one by Swisher. 11-7 Sox. 2 grand slams in one inning is pretty crazy. Probably the big story in baseball at the end of the day, unless anything else good happened.

Wow, listening to Z on the post game... he's definitely out there

Haha, you just figured this out now?

Z is a nutcase, but he's our nutcase, so we love him.

They usually dont leave all the post-game stuff on the mlb.com gameday audio, but they are still playing all the post-game from WGN radio. Sound slike Z will be sitting down with them in a bit as well so should be fun :D

Z can be any kind of nutcase he wants to be as long as he keeps pitching like that!
