Lilly isn't impressive, but he beat the crap out of the Cardinals. So basically, Lopez is completely trashing the Cards offense. Pujols and the gang need to give him a blanket party.

What is it with idiot players on other teams trying to act tough against the Cubs this year? First we had Javier Vazquez saying he wasn't afraid of the Cubs lineup after they had just scored 11 runs against the White Sox. To Lopez's credit, he did go 1-4 with a K...in the world of Felipe Lopez thats a pretty damn stellar game.

Ted Lilly gave Braden Looper a look the other day after getting buzzed that plainly said "you hit me with a pitch and I will walk out to the mound and stab you in the heart, followed by icepicking your family to death. Do NOT eff with me."

Sep 10 RHP Kyle Lohse dropped his appeal and began serving his five-game suspension meted out for allegedly throwing near the head of Cincinnati RHP Edinson Volquez on Aug. 17. Lohse's next start would have been Sunday, but now he'll start on Tuesday at Cincinnati.
