One day, Sori is going to swing at a pitch that bounces into the strike zone and hit a home run.

Didn't Vladimir Guerrero do that in Montreal once?

I think he nine ironed a ball that was like 2 inches off the ground once.

Harden has not looked good tonight. Lots of hard hit outs and only 2 K's. I'm concerned about his velocity.

Another china doll on the pitching staff. He can be a good pitcher, but so could Wood and Prior.

Everyone in the world isn't CC Sabathia. Bitching about a guy with an ERA AROUND 2 because he averages ~6 innings...just mind numbing.

We are depending on him heavily to go far this year. He just missed two weeks with discomfort and has not pitched as many innings as he has this year in at least a couple years. I am so wrong.

Wow, just wow.

I don't see where this statement is factually incorrect.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means...

A) I don't use the word "factually" all that often, and B) tell me how that's incorrect? Harden is a good pitcher when he's healthy, but he's had a difficult time staying healthy in his career, just like Prior and Wood. Am I wrong?

a.) Its actually a quote from a movie, sir.

b.) It is incorrect to use the word "factually" to describe an OPINION.

I know the PC is fine, but I wouldn't pitch Harden anymore. He's healthy. He got game action. He can get the win. Deep bullpen. Use it.

With two off-days, I agree entirely.

I'd push him a little farther personally. He'll undoubtedly get pushed pretty hard in the playoffs, I'd like to at least work him into that scenario. I wouldn't have pulled him after 62 pitches. Leave him in until around 90ish would be optimal, imo.

He still has at least 2 more starts, probably 3. He can get up to 75-80 next time, 90 after that, and should be able to go 100+ if needed in the playoffs.

Unless there is more than meets the eye in this "missed" start, I don't agree. 90 pitches is hardly pushing a pitcher too far IMO. I'd like for him to be accustomed to throwing that many pitches in more than one start before the playoffs.

2008 Houston Astros = 2007 Colorado Rockies

:-#

Except for the fact that the 2008 astros won't make the playoffs.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about the great moves to get Hawkins and Wolf.
