I hope this is not true, and I am sure many of you think the same way.

 

I am praying that there is not a 69 type collapse.

 

with the wild card, cubs will make the playoffs but i forsee yet another year not making it to the series.

 

they tried so hard in august, but harden zambrano with questionabe arms...

Disagree, the difference is that today they actually use a bullpen, back then every starting pitcher had a giazillion inning on their arms when entering Aug. Leo the lip abused his pitcher and Santo, Banks and Williams never ever got a rest
