Thanks for showing up today Soriano. You looked awful every time up.

No kiddin'. 0-for-5, 3K's, 4 LOB. That's atrocious #-o

Soriano struck out swinging, 2-3

Other than the HR yesterday he sure seems to be in a funk lately. He came up twice in this game with runners in scoring position and did nothing *sigh* Streaky streaky

The ump didn't do him any favors. At least one AB he was instantly down 0-2 on two obvious balls.

Maybe he's hung over like Font.

OK, I know thats a bad strike call....but their pitchers hit that spot maybe 15 times all game...you'd think they would have figured it out by now.

ok i threw a foam stress ball

that didn't halp

I would have hated to see you after the Victor Diaz loss, or the Playoff losses last year, or any of the number of losses the Cubs have suffered in agonizing fashion over the years. But, yeah, this was an aggravating loss, thanks to the horrendous umpiring, and the mid 90's Braves pitchers treatment Brett Myers received.

He's just pissed because we were only 3 wins away from seeing Len and Bob switch facial hair styles. Give him a break!

Edit: Whoops, that joke was already made this thread.

Indeed. Striking out is much better.

or just hope that the ump gets his head out of his ass and makes the correct call *shrug*
