AJ did that on purpose. If a player on the Cubs did that he would be our hero, but still. AJ totally stuck out an elbow slightly to make contact. I hate when umpires interpret a rule that literally. There is no way AJ hitting that player had any effect on the play.

I don't know how Hawk and DJ talk about these guys with a straight face. "Best baseball instincts in the game." What a joke.

If the shoe was on the other foot, Hawk would be throwing a temper tantrum.

You bring Upton in to have 5 infielders, so what does the pitcher do?

 

Throws 2 straight pitches up in the zone that can be placed in the OF.

 

 

I know where the real blame lies (Eddings) - by reading this thread - but the Rays pitcher just blew that game literally.

I love how they now play "Go Go White Sox" a song they used to play during games, after White Sox victorys. I wonder who gave them the idea to do that... :-k
