Yeah I'd hope so. I don't know who out there wants to take on 38 million over the next 3 years of a guy that will be 32 in April, and looks worse by the day.

Also, CC and Demp would probably be 30 million per year combined for years.

And... we don't even know how much if any money we'll be able to spend with the new ownership looming.

I didn't mean it that way. I said it to convey that suggesting Lee to the DL for Hoffpauir is a bad suggestion for a lot more reasons than defense at 1B.

That statement makes no sense. You say there arent alot of 1st baseman who are as good at picking the ball as Lee, but then say errors woudnt increase without him at 1st? In case you havent noticed Aram and Theriot both have a tendency to throw alot of balls in the dirt.
