The "you must squib/pooch on the final kickoff of the game" obsession is just like the overuse of the sac bunt in baseball.

 

You CAN'T give up that field position when all they need is one or two completions to get in field goal range.

Worst case scenario is Tennessee actually winning the game but by less than 8. Which is probably the most likely scenario. If you're not gonna win in triple+ by 8, then at least lose in embarrassing fashion.
