08-09' Blackhawks (46-24-12) 104 PTS - 4th Seed In The West!

So when Vancouver wins tonight, we'll be tied for 4th. Ugh.

I'm more concerned with Columbus passing the Hawks and then having to face Calgary

We are undefeated against Calgary this year though and I don't think any of those games were particularly close.

That was also when we were good

Calgary in the playoffs would be a significantly tougher draw than Vancouver

Well with the way we're playing right now, it wouldn't matter who we'd be up against.

That said, I don't really see a huge difference in playing Vancouver compared to Calgary besides losing HIA in the first round.

I follow the Hawks, but not as closely as some people here. What has happened to them? Injuries? A dry spell? Are they just playing badly? Rookie or second year wall?

This bad team has now been downgraded to Hox and has officially given up the claim to 4th spot in the West... congrats chokers... how ironic you're playing the BJs tomorrow.

Tonight is literally a must win... man what an embarrassing team this has turned into.

IN THE LAST 10 DAYS:

The Hawks have managed to lose to the #15 teams in both conferences, while those teams were using their backup goalies.

The Hawks have managed to be a part of history twice on the [expletive] end of the stick by giving up Patrick Elias' Devils point record as well as giving Brodeur his all time wins record.

Not literally, but yes, they need to get some points soon. They still have a game in hand on everybody and 2 on just about every potential 8 seed. If they do lose, or fail to at least get a point, then the Edmonton/LA games become must wins, because next week they play SJ and NJ again, and will probably get housed.

I didnt believe the Hawks were an elite Western Conference team in December, I also dont believe that they are a Western Conference non-playoff team in March. They are going to finish 4-5 and may or may not advance, but will probably not advance past the 2nd round if they do. They still are a team that is moving in the positive direction though.

I am going to try really hard not to watch the game tonight, but I know I will. I caught a little of last night's game on the radio and it sounded ugly.

Columbus is good. The Hawks will need to play a physical game or they will have no chance.

hopefully his wife/sister-in-law is present to enjoy the moment.

I just heard this story last night for the first time ever.

I can assume what happened, but what is the story?

It's pretty great. Here's the gist:
