Feels like forever since the Hawks have played.

 

I think the Hawks have 5 consecutive days off early next month. That's too long inbetween games and should never happen IMO.

 

They do, they have 2 5 day layoffs next month, I believe.

 

The NHL really needs to revisit that.

 

Good start. I saw Barker played the last game as well. When did he come up?

Sounds like this was the best played game for the Hawks all year. Getting two points in regulation is big.

 

Hopefully they come out and have the same effort tomorrow against Columbus before that long layoff.

Sean Avery is my favorite player and it was so typical of him delaying the Hawks to salute their crowd.

 

I know I saw that and it ticked me off a little bit. My first thought was if Eager wants to be of use to the Hawks "Escort" Avery off the ice. And when I mean "escort", I mean level him to the ground and drag his stpid asteroid off the ice.

Stupid fight, hugfest. Tollefsen cheap shotted him though as the linesmen were coming sparking the "actual" fight.

LMAO truly horrible... 3 blatant roughing penalties on the Bluejackets, none of them called. Brouwer gives one shot to a BlueJacket player and gets a penalty... unbelievable.

The Blackhawks radio guys thought it was a legit call and a stupid move on Brouwer. They were really giving it to him.

Oh no no no... it WAS a penalty, I'm not arguing that... it was stupid and immature. But... there have been 3 calls NOT called against the Jackets... after the whistle... Burish got facewashed then LITERALLY tackled to the ice... nothing.
