I played little league with Schlitter, and he threw about 75 MPH when he was 12 years old. Hopefully, he performs well.

I was in the womb with Schlitter.

That SOB wouldn't stop splashing amneotic fluid in my eyes and pinching off my cord.

I wonder how close to Florida Scott got in the RV before he had to turn it around and head to Philly.

I didn't think we'd get an answer to this question, but here it is:

Valdosta, Georgia

A couple good quotes from Eyre in there. Good luck to him, except when we possibly meet his team in the playoffs.

8 miles to the gallon?

When they interviewed him on the score he said he only had to stop once though on the way to Florida haha. Man I'm gonna miss that guy he always gave good interviews :(

sounds like a guy who could use some innings to learn how to pitch.

Power arm with delivery and/or consistency issues who may figure it out...that's a Hendry-era pitching prospect for you.

Meh... sometimes those guys turn into Jose Ceda. I'm not too bummed with the return.

For Eyre? Yeah, I will take him.

Cool - I faced Schlitter a few times when he was a senior and I was a junior. I remember one game being a pretty important one and I think we touched him up pretty good (note - I say we, but I was probably 0-4).
