I really hate starting a 2nd Joba thread, but figured this justified it. He had the MRI which is why he is now head down there. That can't be good, and would almost eliminate the Yankees chances should he miss significant time.

Also I would really love to see an interview with Dr Andrews some day. Suprised he has never done one, but most everything good might be protected by confidentiality. Still he should have some cool auto's laying around.

Beginning of the season: Hank Steinbrenner is an idiot for even thinking Joba should be a starter.

Middle of the season: Wow what a great idea it was for Joba to be a starter. Some on ESPN think he should win the Cy Young.

Now: Joba is hurt. Shouldn't have made the transition in the middle of the season after being a reliever for so long. But in years past, he was a starter, so he did have that experience.

Dr. Andrews has done stories and interviews before. I've read at least one of them.

For example, this is a very long article all about Andrews, with plenty of quotes and a few stories spread in there:

Thanks. 40,000 career operations, 2,500 for Tommy John alone. He might have more money than Scott Boras.

Yeah, he was featured in a column in ESPN the Magazine in the past month.

A column, or one of those short "7 things you should know" about him features.

"7 things you should know". I just read it when I was at the doctors office.
