Me and the roommate head to Wrigley when first one was ending. At first, they weren't letting anyone back in. After about ten minutes at all gates, they gave up.

We were looking for tickets, couldn't find any. Then these four girls get kicked out for being too drunk, we get them to give us their tickets, get into the bleachers.

Sit in left field, about six rows from where DeRosa almost went yard.

That lighting right before they called it and the one about two minutes after they called were freakin scary.

Way to not be a man.

Way to beat me.

That top one is at 11:23 and the bottom one is at 11:09 so it has to look better than that. On weather.com the dot of Chicago is about in the center of the storm and that is provided at 11:30.

it is amazing they haven't called this game yet

If it was Houston against Cincinnati, you could be assured that this thing would have been called ages ago.

I know if I stay up and the game isn't called I will be miserable when I see us really lose, but if I go to bed since I work at 6:30 we will probably win, so I'm debating right now but I really wanna see if they continue the game.

Not exactly related, but at Ditka's yesterday they had the Mariners vs. Orioles game on. I thought, "what's the point?"

Oh come on, it's only a 100% chance. Why do you have to be so pessimistic?

Nothing building behind the storm moving through right now. Right after the first storm went through and the game started up I looked at the radar, there was a little back building and then all the sudden I look again and it is HUGE.

I got caught when the second wave hit full force about a mile from home (walking) and the thought of death seemed distinct and waving at me. Edited by Sammy Sofa

Go to bed. The offense needs it.

What's the curfew for games? I remember one Yankees game ended at 4 am last year(or this year?)

I don't think there is a curfew for National League games.

FWIW, they just said on the radio that 1am is the latest an inning can begin.

I'm a big weather guy, and I think storms like this are awesome when they aren't interfering with the Cubs game.

Haha but as a huge cubs fan I just can't seem to pull myself away from the radar to see when it will pass or the tv or the internet. Sometimes you have to take it like a man and go to work on less than 5 or 4 hours of sleep which I do quite often anyways, So I think i'll be a man and see if it comes back on :)

That can't be right. The Rockies and Padres(?) game earlier this year was being played at like 2 in the morning their time wasn't it??

Normally I do too since typically if I get caught in them something is always open near by and I can find cover in, but after 11 at night by St. Michael's off North, everything is closed. I was tempted to pound on the doors of the Twin Anchors and demand sanctuary and ribs.
