Brewers(Suppan) vs. Braves(Chuck James)-if we lost to a no name pitcher and a AAA team, by golly, so can they

Cards(Kyle Lohse, whose slowly realising that hes Kyle Lohse) vs. Phillies(Kid Cole)

White Sox, now with 100% more Ken Griffey Jr. take on someone.

The Cubs have gained or lost a game to the second place team in the standings 11 out of the past 16 games if the Brewers or Cardinals win tonight.

well the phillies finally scored.

and ryan ludwick has a .968 OPS... that makes me want to punch something.

It's below 1.000? That's new.

Joe Mather has an .864 OPS now.

I wonder if the Cardinals' fans know as little about the idiots who come up and rake for them from the minors as I do.

Mike Fontenot has a .918 OPS

I'm sure you're poking fun, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be annoyed at all that the Cardinals are getting insane performances from their everyday outfielders because the Cubs are getting a pretty great performance from a backup middle infielder.

Yes, I was just poking fun. You have every right to be annoyed.

Hah, Manny is wearing #99 for the Dodgers. And got a single in his second at bat.

Manny being hockey.

He couldn't keep 24, his number in Boston, because it was Hall of Fame manager Walter Alston's and it's retired. He didn't want 28, suggested equipment manager Mitch Poole, and asked for 34, but was told that had been Fernando Valenzuela's and nobody's worn it since he was released. Then he wanted 66, which was no problem, but he changed his mind. He asked if he could have 11 as a tribute to coach Manny Mota, but decided against it. He accepted 99, only to walk into the clubhouse Friday and ask for 28, the original suggestion.

Good lord.

Mike Fontenot has a .918 OPS. ;)

He's not a regular and he only gets starts when he's in a position to succeed.

And Joe Mather, the start of all this idiotic whining, has 74 ABs.
