Howry's going to get DFAed when Wood returns. I'm almost positive.

Only problem is, Wood doesn't sound like he's anything near close to returning.

And I mean, who misses a month with a blister? Honestly? Kerry Wood I guess.

And I was roundly mocked in the Kerry Wood thread when I said "And so it begins."

Guess I'm not so stupid after all, am I boys?

You were pretending like he was going to have TJS in a few weeks.

I think he still thinks it.

No, I don't think he'll have TJS. But I did say it was probably going to be worse than "a week" or "two or three days" like everyone was saying, simply because he's Kerry Wood. And people thought I was stupid.

Guess I was right.

Me no like righty vs Prince but I think Lou might be thinking extras.

He's got to be. Could this be Gaudin's starter tryout?

It really boggles my mind why they hadn't used Gaudin last inning

So you'd rather have Howry face the middle of the order?

Exactly...he gave a HR to Russell Branyan for Christ's sake.

I'd rather Howry not be on the rubber in a cubs uniform ever again

If only we could convince Jim and Lou of that...................

Wow. This has gotta be one of the worst bits of managing Lou has done all year.

Why? I think it was rather solid strategy here.

Branyan has hit homeruns in one out of every ten at bats against right handed pitchers this year. It was incredibly stupid not to bring in one of the THREE lefties.
