Julio Castillo facing felony charges? Sportscenter just said that, but then again, they called him Juan Castillo ... and also said 17 players were ejected.

Felix Pie is 3-3 with a triple and a walk so far tonight, and Micah Hoffpauir has hit a grand slam for Iowa. They're up 10 - 5 in the 6th.

Why do the Chiefs have an interim manager? What's up with Ryno? If anything was said about that I missed it.

He's at the HOF ceremony.

Ah; I forgot that was this weekend.

Looks like Pie's day is probably over (unless Tuscon scores 8 in the bottom of the 9th)... which is a shame.

Two singles, a double, a triple, and a walk in six plate appearances. Oh, and a stolen base.

He's now batting .367 in July with a 1.019 OPS

ESPN said that Castillo is going to be charged with a felony for his actions.... I heard it too.

And we thought Ryu was bad for hitting an osprey (or however u spell it.)

Someone's career is over.

An obviously different view point from the Chiefs' side of it

Angel Cabrera was then hit by a pitch in the arm and after throwing his bat down, he started jawing at Castillo on his way to first. Kel Jones bounced into a fielders choice to second and Cabrera went in hard, spikes up, on Nate Samson. As Cabrera walked off the field, the players jawed and then Dragons manager Donnie Scott started yelling at Castillo and Samson from the third base coaches box. Chiefs Interim Manager Carmelo Martinez came out of the dugout to confront the Dragons skipper, and he and Scott had an animated discussion down the third base line. The players began jawing as well and it quickly turned into a full-blown, benches-clearing brawl. As all the players from both teams converged around the Dragons dugout, punches were thrown and players hit the ground. By time the umpires finally gained control, they handed out 15 ejections. After multiple conversations with both coaching staffs, substitutions were announced an both teams were ready to put two pitchers in the outfield. The umpires then disappeared into the clubhouse and returned 10 minutes later to announce that all of the ejections were reversed. Play resumed with Chris Siegfried on the hill for the Chiefs, 69 minutes after the brawl ended.
