Give me the 95 rotation: Castillo, Navarro, Trachel, Foster, and Bullinger. Those were the days!

Hah, that was my first year watching the team. I actually liked that rotation for some reason. I was a fan of Kevin Foster and Castillo. Navarro was solid with us, too.

I don't remember much about Bullinger other than he had huge ears.

Trachsel was dominant in 1996, if nothing else.

He was very good in 1994, 1996, and 1998. He was horrible in 1995, 1997, and 1999.

Ugh. That'll make a guy feel old in a hurry.

Yep, about 5 years before Farnsworth started the same plan.

Carlos' velocity was a tad better today, though not where we'd like to see it. His movement was also better, but obviously not his location.

No real change in his release point from last time out.

Bump

His release point is rather low again, but his velocity is better than his last two times out.

Watched the WGN Cubs docu "Cubs Forever" today and was reminded that Trachsel took a no-no deep into the one-game playoff in 1998. Seems like a lot more than 10 years ago.

On the topic, I can't handle worrying about Z right now. He's gonna be fine.
