yeah, grabbing things put in the hand. She puts her hand behind her head, grabs her hair, gets angry, flails around, and gets angrier because someone's pulling her hair

 

i thought it had to do with falling backwards. babies grab blindly if they sense themselves falling backwards. i still think that adults get this reflex sometimes when on the brink of sleep and suddenly jolted awake.

It's quite possible I mixed up my reflexes and screwed up. Anyway, she's pulling her hair even with mittens on
