Am I the only one who thinks baseball should allow a "reenter the game" rule for All-Star game only? Meaning a position player (starter or backup) could be reenter the game, one more time?

I know it sounds crazy, but so does HFA to be determined by the outcome of the ASG.

 

 

While that may be fun, I think the bigger problem is the pitcher issue.

I STILL hate Hurdle for taking Aramis out.

 

What has Guzman done right? The force out at the plate was one, but that's it. He was CS'ing for Ramirez and now weakly flies out.

It was the right move. It was the 9th inning and he got the leadoff man on first as the winning run. I'd rather have Guzman than Aramis pulling a plow.

 

Right move then, but really hurts each time Guzman comes to the plate, and maybe will make a game-costing error at 3B.

 

The odds weren't very high that he would get one AB. To get another one it probably has to go 13-14 and there will be bigger problems by that point than having Cristian Guzman batting.
