To think this matchup would have never occured if the CUBS HAD JUST DRAFTED CAIN INSTEAD OF BROWLIE!

But come on...we've had some fun times in the Bobby Browlie era!

Posted

Marquis starts, weather hot, wind blowing out, Cubs lose, guaranteed.

I'm not even going to let myself get upset by this loss since that would be the equivalent of slamming a car door on your hand and then being surprised by the amount of pain that resulted from it.

21 is also Jason Marquis' number

Omar, when did Colbert put on a Cubs hat?

Jason Marquis is 3-1 with a ERA of 2.56 in his career against the Giants

Optimism from a Brewers fan? Thanks!

We just saw Cain, he won't fool us again. Cubs win 8-6.

I hope you're right, but if Cain hits his spots like he did last time, he won't need to fool anybody.

Marquis is never leaving.

Ever.

Paging Jeff Gilooly. Mr. Jeff Gilooly, please report to Wrigley Field.

/kidding.

Funny, I was going to post something Gilooly-related in response to the same post a couple hours ago, but decided it would be in poor taste.

Thanks for speaking my mind!

Hahah. That one actually went over my head until just now.

Didn't see a lineup, but did read this on chicagosports.com

Also, Friday's starting outfield consisted of Daryle Ward in left, Reed Johnson in center and Mark DeRosa in right, which gave struggling right fielder Kosuke Fukudome and veteran center fielder Jim Edmonds a rest.

This lineup could be meh

I'm guessing

Johnson CF

Theriot SS

Lee 1B

Ramirez 3B

Ward LF

Soto C

DeRosa RF

Fontenot 2B

Marquis P

Marquis is like the chick you picked up at the bar. You got drunk and thought it was a good idea at first. Then you found out how bad she was and you couldn't get rid of her in the morning.

Lol, I'm sigging this.

Remember the Marquis vs. Halliday matchup in Toronto? We won that.

Oh, and win, you losers.

Cubs,

Please allow fewer than 7 home runs today. Thanks.

Banedon

If they give up six I'm blaming you.
