Yeah, it's amazing we have the best record in the NL with a manager as dumb as Lou...what, he's only in the top 20 of all-time winningest managers, isn't he?

 

Meanwhile, Marmol goes from unhittable the first two batters to horsecrap awfully quickly....

 

Lou deserves a ton of credit for the team's record. They're seeing a lot of pitches - something that never happened under Dusty - and their OBP is excellent.

 

But he's as dumb as a rock once the game starts.

 

Unless you just really like watching hit-and-run attempts.
