It's still a long time till any of the games, but I want to forget the disaster that is the Tampa series and start looking toward tommorow.

Cardinals open up a three game series at Fenway.

Meanwhile the Brewers host Baltimore. The O's have been surprisingly decent in 08 and come off a sweep of Houston.

Speaking of the fading Astros, they head to St Petersburg and face the Rays. Good luck there .

2-1 after a full inning in TB. Little better, Rays.

Oswalt looking his normal 2008 self (or so I can guess by following Gameday).

[Not that we need TB to beat the Stros to protect our divisional lead on HOU, but the thought of the Astros going into the TB Dome and winning a game or two, after we got swept, would just be really bothersome.]

Houston?

Who cares. Don't worry about them.

I don't think they're worried about them as much as they want to see how they do against Tampa at the Trop after the Cubs poor showing. That's why I posted that game in the OP.

In better news, Oreos up 2-zip on the Beermakers in the Top 1st.

1 down and guys on 2nd/3rd.

*EDIT*; 3-0 on a sac fly. 2 down and man still in scoring position, at 2nd.

Again. Who cares? Teams win, teams lose. Happens all the time. Doesn't matter at all.

I'm not gonna argue this cause there's absolutely no point, but if its such a non-issue, why continue to debate it?

[bAL now up 4-0 on the BrewCrew]

Cubs win, Z's going to be fine, Sori healing nicely, all we need know is a Brewer and Cards loss.
