Rays have never faced Gallagher.

Could be an interesting lineup with no Johnson or Edmonds. Probably see the same group that ended the game last night. Fukudome in CF, Murton LF, Derosa RF, Fontenot 2B (he never played the field but PH for Cedeno). Yeah, Lee and Ramirez really need to hit with this group around them.

I don't want a three-game losing streak now. I am going to tomorrow's game with my nephew (a Sox fan) and I don't need hear about a Cub losing streak all of the way to Chicago.

We need a Cubs win, an all-clear on Zambrano and a Sox loss for my day to be perfect.

We'd better win tonight. I do not like the pitching matchups this weekend.

Danks (2.90) vs. Lilly (4.74)

Contreras (3.24) vs. Marquis (4.24)

Vazquez (4.13) vs. Dempster (2.76)

it might be Hoffpauir in LF against the RHP.

trammel said in pre-game the other day that he thought Ramirez would DH today. who knows if that will change with the injuries though. we might see Cedeno or Derosa at 3B.

Maybe:

Fukudome CF

Theriot SS

Lee 1B

Ramirez DH

Soto C

Derosa 3B

Murton RF/LF

Hoffpauir LF/RF

Fontenot 2B

Or they could use the outfield you mentioned and put Cedeno at 3B.

Beyond Kazmir and Longoria' glove has anyone been all that impressed with Tampa Bay? Sonnanstine did not look like much yesterday, no exceptional movement or velocity, I'd go so far to say that if Lee or Aram had much of night the Cubs put up 8+ runs. I believe if Lee or Aram break out tonight the Cubs win easily. Edited by gflore34

This guy does not look excited to be facing us.

This guy, on the other hand just looks happy to be somewhere.

Lefties hit Gallagher pretty well, so I'm worried about how Sean will handle Crawford tonight.

That said, the Cubs are due. We haven't lost 3 in a row all year. I'm fairly confident about this one tonight.

I think we're due to go on a skid; I'm more concerned about any potential health issues...

It's the wrong time for that skid with the W.Sox in town.

A.J. Burnett vs. Dave Bush and the Brewers. Could this be A.J. last game in a Blow Jays uniform?

How creative.
