Initial thoughts:

 

Midwest looks like the strongest region.

I don't see much stopping UConn/Memphis in the West regional final.

Pitt will blow through the East.

I like OU or Syracuse to come out of the South.

 

I'll take Louisville, Memphis, Pitt, and Syracuse as my seat of the pants Final 4 prediction.

I really do not like the Badgers' matchup with FSU. FSU plays good defense and has the kind of player in Toney Douglas that would give the Badgers fits.

They really need to do something about high seeds getting essentially home games. Why can't four teams in Portland be switched with the 4 teams in Boise or Phily so Washington doesn't get a huge advantage? Why the heck does UNC get to play in North Carolina to start? That is complete crap. Same goes for Duke getting to start in North Carolina. It's easy to fix so why not do it?

 

Oh and I wish I lived in Portland cause both Illinois and Purdue begin play out there.

Yeah, it's pretty shady to put NDSU in Minneapolis. They don't have much in the way of size though, so Aldrich should go crazy.

You make much more money this way, getting better crowds and reducing travel expenses. Plus, it gives incentives for teams to earn a good seed. North Carolina is clearly a top team, it should be hard to eliminate them from the tournament.
