I think Michigan belongs, but this has been a terrible day for Big Ten bubble teams.

The argument that calms me down everytime I start to get worried is that it seems like Michigan is 6th in the pecking order of Big Ten teams, ahead of Penn State and Minnesota.

Penn State is obvious, Michigan has a much better RPI and better wins and a harder SOS. Minnesota has a slightly better RPI, a worse SOS and Michigan beat them twice.

I can't think of a way that either of those teams jump Michigan at this point, unless Penn State has a crazy comeback tonight, and I REALLY can't see the NCAA only taking 5 Big Ten teams.

I can't even be mad about this PSU/Purdue game. Every junk, contested shot Purdue is throwing up there is dropping. Yeah, Penn State is giving up too many easy layups, but that's what happens when you have to guard 25 feet from the basket to try (and fail) to guard the 3 point shot

btw- jereme richmond just hit a half court shot to lift waukegan over brandon paul's warren township team tonight.

paul was fouled on a three pointer with seconds to play and hit all three ft's to put warren up 1 and then richmond threw in the game winner. people are calling it instantly the greatest game in illinois high school basketball history.

richmond had 31 and paul had 27.

great pub for the illini.

You can't tell me that there are more than 2 surefire first round picks in the Big 10 in the next two drafts.

tisdale is easily the overall #1.

I just hope he doesn't declare after this year.

In all seriousness, I think he has a decent chance at being drafted, and a nonzero chance of being a 1st rounder. Just unlikely to be in the next 2 drafts.

maybe, if her gains weight he could be one of those goofy-ass guys that comes in and fouls dwight howard.

Duquesne is blowing out Dayton right now. If Duquesne beats Temple tomorrow, does Temple still get in? This could be a nightmare if the A-10 takes 4 teams.

Fight breaks out between ASU and UW. Harden bumps into Overton after a foul while walking away and Overton pulls his jersey and drags him down.

Overton is a total thug as everyone knows in the Pac-10. Completely classy, with the gang signs flashing after the players are broken up.

I'm not even sure Dayton deserves an at-large. They likely will, but I can't see a scenario where Temple gets in without a win tomorrow.
