Well if OU ever has a better player than Blake Griffin and if KU is ever younger than this year, that would be the time for the Sooners to win the conference. Wait, what's that? Those two things will never happen?

In one of OU's best years ever and a transitional year for UI. I'll take it, especially based on expectations at the beginning of the year.

On the other hand, Capel seems to have his crap together and may be able to maintain a solid program at OU, so who knows.

Yeah but at least we don't have an ex-Dukie as coach.

and it's only a matter of time before a job in the ACC or Big 10 opens up for him.

What job in the Big 10 that's likely to open is better than OU?

Iowa? How is Iowa better than Oklahoma?

Indiana? Yea, they're better, but do you think they're gonna fire Crean after one season?

Northwestern? LOL nope.

Michigan? Ehh perhaps. How long has Beilein been there?

Buford (William?) for OSU is a ridiculous shooter. Seen him against UI twice and a few others I can't remember exactly and he can roll off screens and hit the mid-range jumper with consistency. Gonna make a real solid NBA player; think he has some size too.

Kinda reminds me of Rip Hamilton a bit

I'm thinking at some point OSU will open up. Or Minnesota?

In out best season ever we at least managed to win our conference. You guys got beat by a rebuilding Kansas. I also doubt you make the final four this year.

i hear that izzo is going to alabama. haha.

but seriously, they're all better.

MSU and IU are the only programs that are clearly better than OU.

Illinois is only marginally better historically (one more FF, 100 or so more wins), but they have a better recruiting bed, so I guess that makes it a better job.

I suppose you could maek an argument for michigan too, but they haven't been relevant for 15 years.

Everyone else is below OU, imo.

Before today, I never knew this intense Illinois-Oklahoma rivalry existed.

It doesn't, I feel ad for them. They are loaded this year and still weren't able to win their conference.

I would be more afraid that Capel leaves for Arizona.

Ohio State

10 final fours with one title.

Turn to the Big Ten Network in about 3 minutes to see how much better Iowa is than Oklahoma. :)

I doubt i could turn the Big 10 network on and stay awake for three minutes.

Doesn't Gus Johnson do games for them? I bet you could for that reason alone.
