You know whats amazing to me? The last 5 runs the Cubs have scored should have been Jim Edmonds RBI's.

 

-Edmonds Sac fly yesterday

-Edmonds HR

-Reed Johnson HBP (Edmonds probably would have done the same thing)

-Edmonds RBI double

-Edmonds hit that glanced off the ump should have scored the runner, but was instead driven in by EPatt

Wait, what. Blanco over soto the rest of the way. I don't like this.

 

If we don't score a run soon, the rest of the way might not even be until Soto's next at-bat.

 

I like it.

 

You like Blanco getting the PH over someone like Reed or Cedeno?

He also missed a two run homer by two feet.

To be fair, he would be in the opposite batters box, so that's a big assumption.

And all things being equal, had the same pitch been thrown to the same location, it would have been a wild pitch and Aramis probably would have scored.
