That's not a horrible lineup if you take their 2008 performances seriously.

Disagree:

 

Ryan - 79 OPS+

Miles - 81 OPS+

LaRue -- 43 OPS+

I apologize if this has been mentioned already, unless Im mistaken, Pujols has yet to be officially DLd. Hes still on the 25 man.

 

it's a formality; Wainwright was dl'ed for Duncan, Pujols will be dl'ed shortly.

Dl'ed or not his injury is going to linger the remainder of the season, from what I understand leg injuries require rest to fully heal. It'll be impossible for Pujols to get the proper rest during the season and when you factor in he's 40+ years old (it's a joke)...

It all depends on the severity of the strain and, yes, your age. Pujols isn't old and has a demonstrated ability to both heal quickly and play through pain and injuries. He also plays a position that requires little running and his legs aren't a huge part of his game. I think that once Albert comes back -- whenever that is -- he'll be fine and you'll see few, if any, lingering effects.
